Three sections of film shot in Dawson City and then edited in UK in 2006. Only just got round to putting this online but thought it might be good for the world to seeee and get it out there. The film loosely follows the story of John Wilkinson, miner from Weardale who struck gold in the Klondike before the Gold Rush of 1898. In 2005 I did a residency at the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture and collected lots of information about Mr Wilkinson and his journey and my journey into discovering him. I have since found more information and more photos and would really love to re-edit the material without my narrative voice over. The residency and the experience influenced the Semi Precious project that you see today. Here is the 3-part epic .....
